Hospederia del Real Monasterio

Struttura d'epoca, che conserva spazi e arredi originali, fa parte del complesso monasteriale di Guadalupe, anche se non è possibile per gli ospiti accedere a questo direttamente. Grande tranquillità , chiostro interno magnifico . Disponibilità di posti macchina pertinenziali.

Abbiamo cenato e fatto colazione nella struttura ma, nonostante i pochi tavoli occupati, non è mai stato usato lo spazio del chiostro a questo scopo..Peccato

Uniqueness of the venue. Old monastery.

Not lots of comfort. Still acceptable. Breakfast quality below average for such a venue

Very beautiful, full of charm, and quite comfortable in an old fashion sort of way. The only negatives are 1) the access - difficult to find the right access and the parking nearest to the entrance, otherwise you have to climb LOTS of stairs with your luggage; and 2) the fact that this is Spain, and everything is closed until dinner time - there's not even a bar at the hotel to buy a coke or a bottle of water between lunch time and 8pm!! Part from that, you are right inside the Monastery, with cloisters and beautiful spaces, and it's really very very romantic. The restaurant is also very good. Breakfast not so much. Definitely a place to visit!

The lack of a bar or a place to buy any kind of drink, except outside the hotel (and that's not next door, you really have to go down and climb back all those stairs), and the fact that there was no freshly baked bread for breakfast. You get croissants and different cakes, but the bread is stale and you have to toast it.

Location, there's plenty to explore in the vicinity especially if you like to hike or bike. Rooms very clean. Stunning building exterior and interior. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, breakfast is buffet but good mix of what pleases Spaniards and foreigners.
