Very fiendly personnel, super location in the heart of the Cusco old town, good breakfast, plenty hot water, pretty quiet, amazing view from the dining room. There is a private parking on-site but by big hired SUV can't access through the gate due lacking of free space. But this problem was solved easily with a sequred parking (30 soles per 24 hours) situated 200 m downstreet. There is a laundry service at the same place (4 soles/1 kg.).
The property is seriously outdated, and the renovation is needed.
Some difficulties with the cold/hot water faucets regulation (see above).

The staff at Karoo house was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful. WiFi great. Hot shower great. Breakfast was good and the view from the breakfast room beautiful. I also liked the location, it was easy to get everywhere without being too close to hustle and bustle. I was pretty happy with my room, simple but quite spacious. I think I was lucky to get room in good location in the hotel, some other rooms near the common areas were less private.
The mattress was too firm for me. I wasn’t feeling well and body was already aching so the hard mattress didn’t help with that.
