The hotel is very pretty, and the services were good. The staff is friendly and helpfull. We felt like we are at home. We would recommend staying there to all who are looking for a good place to stay.

Almost everything went well. Breakfast is fantastic. The owner sat up a tv for us so we could see the world cup in fotboll.

The location and the beds are too short. If you are over 175 cm you can lay straight in the bed.

Everything has always been MORE THAN ENOUGH, place is nice, rooms comfortable, breakfast very good and the staff marvellous.. every one was very attentive and kind... there is nothing they don’t try to sort when necessary. Benedetta the manager is one of the best person we met in our trip. We definitely recommend Roses and will back ASAP

Breakfast served near the pool is excellent. The place itself is very quiet, we took 8 minutes walking to Nungwi beach . Everybody is Super Friendly, Amazing Staff. Thank you for taking good care of us, we felt like home.

Location is great. A 15 - 20 minute walk from the hotel to Nungwi beach but you can take a bike and get there in about 8 minutes approximately. A bit further from Kendwa Beach as you will need to take a taxi to get there. Best to go with a group or friend and split costs if on a budget. Ahmed is a nice guy. He is humble and the staff are similar in nature. As a solo traveller, I felt safe in general. A good bet if traveling to Nungwi in general.

Best hotel in Nungwi! Near amazing restaurants and beach. All was amazing : decoration, beds, breakfast. Ahmed is so kind, he drove us to the capital. We felt to be at home. Thank you again.

Cleanness, hospitality, breakfast, wifi. In the room there is safe box and small refrigerator. Bed is a little tough but I like anyway and it is ok to get nice sleep. Bathroom is good and clean, nice water pressure. Owner Ahmed is great guy, generous, polite and helpfull. Make you feel like staying home. Breakfast allways enough(1 plate fruit, 1 plate chapati/tost, 1 plate egg and some salad with friut juice). You can drink tea/coffee any time with his generousity. During our stay he cooked fish/meat for dinner couple times. Workers are helpfull and polite. (Masai Baraka protects the land, and he is nice guy. Bettit and Rukayye are nicess ladies who clean rooms and prepare breakfast for us). His 2 years old doughter Zahra adorable and his wife Rukayye very nice and helpful person. Only bad thing about the place is the hotel located 15 minutes away from the Nungwi beach, 30 minutes away from Kendwa beach by walk but Ahmed helps to drive you there or arrange tuktuk/taxi for you when ever you need it. If you need tours or anything Ahmed just there for you. They loved our puppy Rio, Rio loved them also. I Will definately come here again. Thanks for everything Ahmed. Nice to meeting you.

Amazing place! And amazing host ! Ahmed is just perfect he is always doing his best to make sure everything is fine and even treating us to free barbecue! The place is super clean and cosy we all feel like a family ! The internet is super fast the best i have seen so far in Tanzania! The place is about 10 min walk from the beach which is good as you get to explore the local culture while enjoying a quiet stay! I will definitely come back I even extended my stay ! This place was exceptional. Nothing missed - great breakfast, clean and big rooms, good internet, nicely decorated, a really cosy place, where would I return at any time. The hospitality of the host was astonishing - the care and kindness of Ahmed and his family and the team makes this place an amazing place to spend your Holidays. Calm and peaceful, you get in the mood of Holidays the moment you enter the lodge door. At the end of the trip we felt we stayed at friends. Thank you for everything!

The location is awesome and convenient, as it is in the village but still close to the bars, restaurants and beach (around 10 minutes walking to the beach). The lodge is cute and beautiful, very well decorated and it has a warm ambiance; rooms are big and comfortable. Ahmed is a great host, friendly, attentive and always available to help! The breakfast is huge and really delicious!!

This place is amazing, it is very clean, everything is working perfectly, and there is good internet, located near two beaches and has a couple restaurants around. But the best part is the host, Ahmed is one of a kind! Thanks for my good time at zanzi.

The breakfast was thoughtful, hearty and excellent. Ahmed is an absolute natural at hospitality and you can see its his sincerest intention to make one feel genuinely comfortable and welcome in the space you share with his family. We were delighted how pleasant the stay was after spending the first 5 nights of our time in Zanzibar at the very pricey Sandys Baobab

Not much in all honesty. You got excellent value for what we paid for for a location a 15minute stroll to Nungwi beach.

The host is very helpful. He makes you feel at home. He goes extra mile to ensure that one has a good stay. The breakfast was amazing.

Nothing I can think of. Maybe for those who want to have a beach view, the lodge doesn’t offer that view but it compliments by connecting you to the nearest beaches which cost you less $5 to reach and provides someone to pick you up and shows you around.

I liked everything there. The place is stunning comfy and warm. You feel you are home.

This is a true gem. I feel lucky to have spent a week at Nungwi Roses. The wifi really is excellent. I was able to work without any problems; they even created a workspace for me. The care and kindness of Ahmed and his family and team makes this a safe, peaceful and comfortable place to be. The street has a range of food options and getting to Nungwi beach is an easy walk or bike ride (they have bikes). Kendwa is a bit further but an easy bike ride. I am also very grateful for the help with the pre flight PCR tests and transfers. Lovely people, a place I look forward to visiting again.

The place is in a good neighborhood, near to everything you would want, the beach is a 10 minutes walk, supermarket, grocery store, pet and food store at your convenience. It is home away from home all amenities available at the property mini fridge,AC available, Hot water available. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, room’s were cleaned daily. The staff were amazing and helpful.

I loved my stay at Nungwi Roses! Ahmad and his team are so helpful and friendly:)! I even extended my stay, because it was so peaceful and relax! Really recommending the place!

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival and immediately felt very well. The breakfast was fantastic! Varied and more than enough. The accommodation was very clean and felt like a relaxing oasis. The host is super friendly and very helpful. If you look up top hotel manager in the dictionary, you would find a photo of the host (Ahmed).

Recommendable place, everything as described on Booking.com, and more. Ahmed and his staff were great. Very good location, fast and cheap transport to the beach in Kendwa, the beach of Nungwi is within walking distance Very quiet and clean place with fast internet, faster than five stars hotel in Stone Town. On the last day, Ahmed drove me to the airport.

Everything at Roses it's simply great, starting from the lovely family who owns it. You feel like home, and they make your stay very pleasant. Rooms are spacious and very clean, bed is comfortable, air con perfectly works, nothing to complain to. They provide 24 hours security service, breakfast is delicious.

I have spent recently about 9 days in Zanzibar and mainland Tanzania along with my wife for beach and Safari trip. Apart from the Safari (highlight of the trip), Nungwi Roses hotel was definitely one of the best little hotels I have ever been to (we travelled to many countries already). Nungwi Roses was EXACTLY what we were looking for. Nice cosy little hotel, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great breakfast, nice coffee relaxing next to the pool, everything was over expectations! Ahmad the owner made everything possible to make us feel like home! He was very kind, helpful, he was always happy to share with us his experience and engage into great interesting discussions by the pool, gave us great recommendations of activities and places around, took care of every little detail to make us feel comfortable! The room was beyond perfection, wifi for free accessible everywhere, 3 of his Masai helpers were always there for assistance, it was just AMAZING! I'm already recommending this hotel to everyone I know who is planning to travel to Zanzibar! Thank you Ahmad for everything!

Atmosphere of this place is amazing! Super clean, cozy, perfect for good sleeping - strong AC. Breakfast was more than good - lots of fruit, omlette and other tasty things - plenty of them. Caring manager. My stay was very well organized - I even was accompanied by one of the staff during my walks in the village. Wi-fi was good too.

Lovely Botique hotel. We felt very welcomed, Ahmed made us feel like we were at home. Very clean rooms and nice breakfast. Our bed was super comfy they provided us with blankets. The sac was cool, we had a great sleep. One more thing, we enjoyed the company of little Zainab, so adorable!

This place is the perfect location to stay in if you are looking for peace,quiet and serenity. -Cleaninliness is superb. I stayed in a room with a private bathroom and Air conditioning and fan and refrigerator, They always cleaned the room immediately after use. - All the staff including the manager, the assistant, the guards and the cleaning staff were very polite, helpful and peaceful. Mr. Ahmed (the owner ) was extremely nice, polite and helpful and he made sure that anything I requested or needed was done perfectly. -The breakfast was wholesome, versatile, clean and delicious. It included things like an omlette, chapati, toast, jam ,peanut butter fruits , vegetables and fresh juices amongst other stuff.

I am very happy i made a reservation for such magnificient place. I enjoyed every moment. The place is just few steps to main road and Nungwi bus stop. There are few grocery shops, a super market, gym and ATM around and only 10 minutes walk to the beautiful Nungwi beach. The manager Mr. Ahmed was very helpful and charming. Since i was the only guest, I was treated like queen. If you are looking for a small private and cozy place to stay in Nungwi, this is the perfect one. The lodge has only 4 rooms but there is swiming pool which i was very supried. Thank you Nungwi Roses, i promise will be back for longer stay. Regards Esther

Everything was above expectation from welcoming to the daily particular attention through the breakfast and everything, The place itself is pleasant and you will find there a friendly atmosphere, And awesome place and professional staff is extremely helpful, Breakfast was amazing, and very hearty and tasty, The laundry service was great and very reasonable, We had a room with air conditioning and fan, everything worked perfectly the bed was very comfortable and so clean, And beautifully decorated plants everywhere, And the room is cleaned daily and the bed is always very loving decorated with flowers, The bathroom is super clean and has everything, shampoos, conditioners, shower gels,hair dryer, etc, Also worth mentioning is that all 24 hours there was security, although we have always felt safe, And fantastic internet and speed, perfect location to access to restaurant, supermarkets, beaches,etc
