The Area

Lakeside is a small subdivision close to Downtown Inverness and just 1 mile from the Withlacoochee State Trail. Check-in is simple — stop by our office to pick up your keys before heading to your home away from home.

This is a great home base for catching some of the area's favorite annual events. Anglers will love timing a visit around the Inverness Big Bass Classic, while cyclists can join the Withlacoochee Annual Ride along the full 46-mile trail. Foodies won't want to miss Blues 'N Bar-B-Que in nearby Homosassa, and if you're visiting in spring, the Inverness St. Patrick's Day Festival brings live music and a pub crawl right through town.

While Lakeside doesn't have its own golf course, the closest public course is about 5 miles away, and a Planet Fitness is just 2 miles south for guests who want to keep up their fitness routine. Ocala is 25 miles away, and Crystal River is a quick 20-minute drive. For groceries and essentials, Publix, Walmart, and Aldi are all just a 5-minute drive from the villa.
