Die Wohnung ist hell, grosszügig und modern eingerichtet, genau wie die Fotos es zeigen. Sehr bequemes Bett. Im 5. Stock mit dem Lift ohne Probleme erreichbar. Treppenhaus auch hell und geräumig. An bester Lage, alles gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Die Parkgarage Lungarno befindet sich in der selben Gasse, man gibt den Schlüssel ab und das Auto wird parkiert. Wir hatten nicht reserviert, hatten aber trotzdem noch einen Platz. Empfehle aber zu reservieren! Der Self-Checkin mit Anweisungen via Whats App hat mit etwas Geduld funktioniert. Wir hatten leider zu wenig Internetempfang in dieser Gegend mit unserem Abo. Nur mit dem WLAN vor der Wohnungstüre (Passwort erhalten in den Anweisungen, perfekt) konnten wir den Türcode erhalten und eintreten. In der Beschreibung der Wohnung sollte bereits mitgeteilt werden, dass das Self Check-in mit der Agentur HomeUnity Firenze bedient wird. So entsteht keine Unsicherheit, wenn plötzlich ein Link gesendet wird, wo man sich eintragen muss um die Kurtaxe zu zahlen oder man ein WhatsApp erhält mit Anweisungen.

The apartments location is amazing and just what we wanted for opportunities to pop back between activities and when returning back late at night. Its a few meters from the Ponte Vecchio on the quieter side of the Arno-ideal. The check in process was great. Helena was friendly and knowledgeable and communication was great and direct via whatsapp to arrange everything. We did have self check in instructions but when later checking for the keysafe we could have used, we were unable to find it. We carried the keys with us anyway each day so it didnt matter but maybe just conform its there if you need to self check in! The security shutters were great for night time darkness, the air con was adequate in the living area, even in a heatwave, and great in the bedroom. The bathroom and kirchen are very clean and the kitchen is amazingly well stocked for a holiday rental. The living area is taken up a little by the sofa bed when in use but it's spacious overall, so this wasnt an issue. The lift was reliable during our stay. We would 100% stay here again!

The only issues we noted were that the windows open fully which on the 5th floor may be a concern if travellers have children. The security shutters come down over them when closed but to let light in, you would have them open. Its likely because there didnt seem to be a fire escape (or if there was, we didn't find it) so the windows would be the route for a rescue situation, therefore need to open. There is no washing machine or oven-neither mattered to us, but may be of importance to other guests(?)

Neither set of instructions provided for entering the building (intercom system or online link) worked for us. We were fortunately able to enter as another person was exiting the building. We also were not provided with the code to enter the room beforehand, and the WiFi password provided did not work for us, so it was difficult to establish connection in order to contact the host via the app to get the room code. Once we got into the room, we were able to reset the WiFi router and then were able to connect. Upon departure, the door handle to exit the building had been removed, and we no longer had the key necessary to turn the lock underneath (as we were instructed to leave it in the room at departure), so it was a bit stressful trying to get to our train on time. Luckily once again another person was exiting the building at the same time and showed us another way to unlock the door without the handle or key. The room itself was as expected, however, the logistics of entering and exiting could have been more clear.
