It was a nice house but a bit dated.
We had informtion given to us on how to use the pod coffee machine but there wasnt one there, just a perculator.
The bed up stairs was very comfortable.
It was disappointing that the ouside spa was broken when we went to use it. We had hiked to the top of Roys Peak and after a full day of hiking were really looking forward to a spa. The property while it is close to the lake , it doesn't have a full lake view, just glimpses through some of the windows. I know this may sound silly but the can opener doesnt work.
Missed the coffee pod machine too.

It was the best house for all my 3 weeks in NZ. We used to change houses every 1-2 days, as we were travelling from Auckland to Bluff. Here we felt like at home and my kids were begging me to stay more!
Jacuzzi pump was not working

The views are lovely.
The house wasn't very clean: fireplace hadn't been cleaned out, oven was dirty and smoked when we used it, sofas very dirty and ripped (!!), rubbish bins outside were full so we had no-where to put our rubbish, spa pool turned green after a couple of days. The microwave and lower aircon unit didn't work. The kitchen was poorly equipped - no roasting dishes, casserole dishes, large pots - given it was a winter holiday food like soups, roasts and casseroles are pretty mainstay. Pretty disappointing experience.
