Large bright room, simply but perfectly adequately equipped with table, chairs, basic kitchen facilities (I was particularly keen on the espresso machine). Good internet. Check in easy (with key, I never figured out how to use the Nuki app, I think maybe I didn't receive the email with the relevant instructions - but key worked just fine.). About 10-15 min walk to town centre.

Only some minor points: On arrival, the bed was arranged as a single bed with two mattresses on top of each other. This was an uncomfortably soft, squishy and slightly unstable arrangement. It took me a bit to figure out how to extend the bed to a double bed where those mattresses then lay next to each other. That was then perfectly fine. The main window is quite high and can only be operated with the help of the stepping stool provided. I suspect small people would struggle reaching it even with that aid. Finally, I arrived on a Sunday evening (shops closed), and would have loved to find a couple of Nespresso capsules to get me going on Monday morning (I left some for the next visitor).

The place was charming, with a quiet location. I recommend it to families who want a nice trip while staying in Siegen. The host was super helpful and answered each and every question we had during our stay
