Hotel Caramare

The hotel is advertised as beachfront, and it really is — you are literally right by the sea. However, there is no beach or sand directly in front of the hotel, so you can’t swim there. That being said, the location is beautiful. From the room, you have a lovely sea view and the terrace really makes you feel like you’re right by the water. The area is very nice, and there is a beach where you can swim just a 5-minute walk away. It’s not the best beach since it’s next to the port (which is great to take tours), but there is a much nicer one about 10–15 minutes away on foot. The hotel is also about a 7-minute walk from the little town, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and everything else you might need. I actually liked this because you’re close enough to walk there, but far enough away from all the noise. There is also a parking lot very close to the hotel, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is comfortable, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the bed is very comfortable. Overall, everything was good and I had a pleasant stay.

Wonderful bright sunny, if compact, room with everything we needed. Located near the end of the waterfront street which has no passing traffic, with uninterrupted views out to sea and overlooking the marina off to the right. Superb super helpful staff. Good basic breakfast -typically Italian 😎. Paid car parking is offsite about 100m away on a back street, which I suspect is on a one-way street (that I couldn't find my way out of, so turned it into my personal two-way street.)

The view was spectacular. Staff were wonderful; so helpful and friendly.

Parking was a bit difficult.
