it was clean. staff were friendly

this was meant to be ‘no prepayment required- pay at the property’. however shortly before the trip we were charged the full amount on my credit card thereby incurring bank charges of GBP120! when I complained it was refunded via my credit card incurring another GBP120 in charges! the whole point of the booking was to pay at the property on a special travel card which has no bank charges so I’m £240 out of pocket! there has been no apology from the hotel and no offer of reimbursement of the charges I’ve incurred as a result of the hotel being in breach of their contract. frankly this has ruined our trip and I would caution others against going to this hotel as a result. it has also put me off booking via booking.com again, as this experience has not been a good one. breakfast is very expensive! it’s ok if you want to only drink cocktails- there’s a very poor choice of wines. some days they didn’t clean our rooms until 4-5 pm and only after we’d asked for it to be done.

food was not up to 5 star standards. they did not give more information about extra activities such as beach party, s’mores for kids on the beach. Last of all I believe the infinity pool should be the adult area because it is a smaller area. Children throwing things around others is not good when some are elderly.

It’s a brand new hotel so everything was modern and nice. All of the rooms have a pool view and at least a partial ocean view. The pools are fantastic especially the infinity pool overlooking the beach. The restaurants were also very good especially El Patron and the breakfast buffet.

The service was inconsistent and could be due to being a new hotel. For example the service at the restaurants was great but when I called for ice they never brought it to the room, even after calling two times. Service at the pools was also very different depending on the day and time. This property, like many in this part of Cabo, is very self-contained. It’s not walkable to anything which is fine if you’re doing all-inclusive but expect to take a taxi or Uber every time you want to leave the resort. The beach is also not swimmable but is nice to look at from the infinity pool.

The property’s HVAC is horrible! I stayed in a high-end suite with no AC for 1 of my nights! Staff had poor training and hottub never worked!

I would like the difference reimbursed to my credit card in the room because I paid for a one bedroom suite ocean view and when I got there they put us in a one bedroom suite pool view. big difference!!!

The property had a great infinity pool overlooking the ocean

Property is in a bad location if you are interested in eating anywhere but the hotel (and hotel food is pretty average). Its also very new and the inside of the hotel feels like a conference center. The rooms are nice but they need to work on other decor to elevate the experience.

The property is extremely beautiful and the upgrades are amazing! The property is extremely quiet and in a somewhat secluded area. While the property is family friendly, I would recommend it for couples or solo travelers who are solely looking for relaxation. If you’re looking for fun I wouldn’t stay here.

The check in process took a really long time.

Modern, large room with nice ocean view. pools were amazing and new gym with plenty of equipment.

Food was marginal, construction noise and we were not warned in advance of construction. Odd that pool bar did not open until 11am. Our room was not ready when we arrived and waited 69 minutes

Great new hotel with good amenities.

Our room was not ready when we arrived, we waited two hours for the room to be ready. As compensation a supervisor offered us two hundred dollars credit for each room which was fair. The food is just ok for such an expensive resort.

Our room was not ready when we booked we waited 2 hours for our room, and then we were told we would get $200 credit for each room for the wait.
