Spacious Studio with Incredible Balboa Park View

The location and simplicity on how to check in and check out. The apartment has a spacious balcony w/ Balboa Park view.

The courtains need to be replaced.

It was semi-close, 15-40 minute walk to various places around the property, which worked out for us. I enjoyed that there were multiple codes to enter into the buildings, making it feel a lot safer. The price for what is there is, is on the more affordable side compared to the surrounding hotels. Truly not a terrible place to stay, however, it could’ve been significantly better on many levels.

Most of the furnishings, walls and doors were all very dingy, beat up, and beginning to peel off. The landlord special reeked throughout the unit in major ways. The blinds in unit 2b were absolutely terrible, light pours in during the nighttime. Close to the airport, so you are constantly hearing planes overhead. Walls are extremely thin and you can hear EVERYTHING. Given complimentary ear plugs, however, that doesn’t change the shaking the plane brings. The listing says it is spacious, however, the inside of the studio is minuscule; The balcony was the largest part of the studio itself. No chairs are inside of the studio itself, the only seating options is the bed or sitting outside on the balcony. Very much a place where the owners don’t expect you to be spending time in the studio, so you get what you do pay for. Bed sounds like it is about to break if you do not sit in the direct middle of it. No pics taken because I forgot.

Great location, clean and a really nice staff

Location, clean spacious room with a Bucky balcony and well equipped . The Balboa Bar around the corner was great with an exceptional burger.

Really noisy place. Planes every 5 minutes on your head and you can ear every apartment on the condo

It wasn’t clean and the bed is really uncomfortable with a extremely soft mattress
