Staying on an island is a unique experience & the elegance of Isola Bella made it even more special. Our own newly refurbished apartment, lake view balcony, practically all ours after 6 pm. Hosts were gracious and helpful.
Island access dependent on ferry schedules. Car had to be left in Stresa (Carciano was the Ferry Pier we used). Parking very limited (early, early is the key). Access to our apartment is somewhat challenging with any luggage larger than a carryon.

Very easy check in by meeting our host at the restaurant. She walked us to the room while giving us information for our night’s stay on the island.
I wish they would install a shelf in the shower for toiletries so they would have to be on the floor.

Prezzo onesto. Soprattutto vista incantevole ovunque ti giravi."
