Tutto bene

The kitchenette facilities so that we could self-cater when we chose to. The fact that we had a token so that we could park free during our stay. The proximity of restaurants, boulangeries, supermarket and laundrette. (Note, there is no washing machine in the apartment, so the laundrette just around the corner is very useful.) There was room in the entrance corridor to park our cycles, which we used daily.

The TV was operated in junction with a set-top box but failed to work. The owner came over to demonstrate the technique required; problem solved. 24 hours later, the technique did not work, and we had no TV for the rest of the week (a pity since the Tour de France was running at this time). The outer doors to the apartment and block were operated by electronic keys and the flat key failed to work for the last 3 days. (The owner was away for the 14 July weekend, so unable to resolve this problem.) We don't like French pillows, but that is an issue in most accommodation in France. Noisy seagulls in the locality, keeping us awake at night.
