We really enjoyed our stay. The hosts were lovely, very friendly and welcoming, and they gave us helpful guidance on getting around Matera and making the most of our visit. The location of the property was excellent. It was only about a three-minute walk from one entrance to the old city and around seven minutes from the other, making it very convenient for exploring Matera. Matera Centrale bus station was also only about a 12–15 minute walk away. Giovanni and Rosa gave us some excellent recommendations for local restaurants, and we really enjoyed the food at the places he suggested. The room itself was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily book this property again if we return to Matera.

Everything was perfect

Casa Nannina was ideal for our one-night stay in Matera - a clean, comfortable, well equipped and very reasonably priced base to explore the ancient city. It would also be a great choice for a longer stay, with a dining table and good kitchen facilities. Giovanni and his wife Rosa were very kind and welcoming. They communicated well over WhatsApp, and used a translation app in person to overcome any language barriers, providing some fantastic tips on where to go in the city to make the most of our stay. They even showed us where to park and moved their car to give us their space. Lovely hosts!

Only a minor issue for us, but there was no hot water in the shower in the morning. There was hot water in the evening, so I’m not sure if the guests downstairs may have just used it up before us, or if there was a temporary issue. Everything else was excellent though. Some reviews mention a small shower, but my husband is 6’1” and had no issues.

Fantástica atención de los propietarios .
