Great location close to lake Atitlán, which makes it an ideal base to explore the villages around the lake.

For credit card settlement, the hotel rate (quoted in USD) is converted into GTQ. However, this is not done at the official exchange rate, but rather at a "hotel rate" which results in a 5 % difference to the disadvantage of the traveler. This resulted in a 30 minute discussion with hotel management to ensure that the "official" exchange rate from booking.com was accepted.

It has a very good location in the town. And the facilities are great, specially the sauna and the water slide in the pool.

The water slide was not operated consistently, and the pool towel service was a bit cumbersome and delayed.

The food was delicious

The WiFi was poor unable to communicate without dropping off. Room location not ideal had to travel up and downstairs with luggage. Room key difficult to open door.
