High Country Motor Lodge - Near NAU and Downtown

The breakfast menu was so limited we did not eat there. Example no toast or muffins. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The gym was OK, but could use a little more room.

The rooms did not have a dresser or shelves to put clothes in. The menu for food service was limited and not very appealing.

Beautiful property.

Honestly, one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The vibe is simply cool. But also relaxed and friendly. Decoration is beautiful. Loved the fire pits everywhere. The general store is just perfect and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. Great coffee and food. We used the laundry room a lot and everything worked perfectly. Also love that we could park the car right next to our door. I'm seriously obsessed with this hotel experience and will definitely come back. Also, I went to a gym that's just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Target is super close as well. Location is perfect. I felt like we were getting the "elevated route 66 experience".

The only thing I didn't like is that the walls were a bit thin and I could hear people in other rooms. Fortunately, the hotel wasn't full, so this only happened on the first night. But it's important to mention, because in fuller months, it could be an issue for light sleepers.

The staff was awesome and helpful. Facilities were nice and the beds were comfortable. They were able to get us connecting rooms.

We paid for early check-in but they were unable to provide when we arrived. They did not charge us for early check-in. We checked our luggage, but they did not take them to our rooms once the rooms were available. We had to go down and get them ourselves.
