A really nice modern apartment in a fabulous location, 2 minutes' walk from the Cathedral. Everything was very clean, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen perfectly adequate and with a good selection of crockery, cutlery and other kitchenware. The washing machine was a bonus, which we took full advantage of. The aircon worked very well. Hard to beat as a base for exploring the old town for a few days. The included free parking is a real bonus if you are driving, though it is not close to the apartment and there are certain issues with it (see below). I do not think you could do better for a stay in this central area.

There were occasional bad drain smells around the apartment, but not extreme and not all the time. If you are arriving by car, be aware that the included free parking is a 15 minute walk (uphill) from the property. It is possible to park at the bottom of the alley near the apartment to drop luggage first, but it is pot luck whether there will in fact be any space to do so without obstructing other cars trying to get past. It is a two minute walk up the alley (including steps) from that point to the apartment, so loading/unloading with multiple trips can be quite stressful. Any car larger than a VW Golf size is likely to be a VERY tight squeeze through some of the lanes and corners to get to the drop off point, so if you have a larger car it might be safer simply to park and carry your luggage down to the apartment. Also, the parking is accessed using a parking card which is left with the keys at the property, so you have to pick up the keys before you can park. When we were leaving, we sent a couple of messages via booking.com to ask whether we would need the parking card in order to get out of the car park, but got no answer. It turned out that you CAN leave the car park without the parking card, so we could have left the card in the apartment with the keys, rather than having to make a separate journey back to return it after taking the car out of the car park.
