I liked the very updated and upscale feel of the hotel. I liked the Keurig coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was very good with a decent selection of items.

Water pressure in the shower was a bit weak. Available TV channels was somewhat sparse. How could you not have PBS channels?

Good location. Bright, clean, modern aesthetic. Professional staff. Good breakfast options and setting.

The HIE brand is a good choice but doesn’t surpass Hyatt Place. Hampton Inns can feel slightly higher end depending on location. The price at this HIE seemed high at $354. Loud HVAC. Thin walls(?) means neighboring showers are easily heard. Couple maintenance things in the room I was in: loose sink faucet and dangling cable wire holder on desk. Personally I’d prefer it if some rooms were no pets allowed.

Conveniently located off the freeway, but far enough away to stay quiet during the night. Staff was friendly and welcoming and made sure my car was being charged even after I arrived later in the evening
