I arrived late but the host was most accommodating and gave very clear instructions on how to get in. The bedroom was amazing with a four poster oriental bed fit for an emperor! And the bathroom looked amazing, but I had to leave early so didn’t actually try the shower.

A home from home …. Beautiful antique Chinese four poster bed with soft pillows and quilt … sun and tree shadows on walls ….. warm welcome from owners friend … like staying with friends

I simply cannot fault Netherbrae. It is a magnificent building, sensitively, artistically and attractively decorated. The facilities are superb and the welcome was warm and friendly. The location is ideal as it is convenient for Edinburgh, is in a quiet residential area with free parking and yet 5 minutes walk to a good shopping centre to buy supplies for break
fast and dinner.

Beautiful spacious room with lovely outlook and big window. Full of character and utterly delightful.
Lovely touches to the decor. Tea/coffee making in the room. Beautiful house and communal areas.
No ensuite facilities. The bathroom was beautiful but shared, so I didn't feel I could enjoy it properly
