This cottage is absolutely perfect for anyone who wants to stay in a home from home - it had everything we needed for a couple of nights stay, it was very modern, with good quality furnishings and kitchen, and was very clean. It was easy to find, easy to access and all the information was supplied to us in good time, and had parking on the driveway right next to the front door.
Unfortunately, Booking.com made an incorrect listing and we had a problem with the number of beds; we needed 4 but there was only 3 (they listed one bedroom as 1 x double AND 2 x singles, instead of 1 x double OR 2 x singles) - we rang the host, Pamela, and she was so helpful, she arrived at the property within a few minutes, and even though it was not her error, she sorted out the problem and gave us another 1-bed property to use free of charge - I cannot praise her highly enough for sorting out this issue so quickly for us, and she was so kind and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for her. We absolutely recommend this property, and this is the best customer service, ever!

This was a beautiful cottage, end of row of three cottages. Really nicely decorated, very clean and cozy. Pam the host, was fabulous with check in details and messaged us on check out to thank us for looking after the cottage.
Perfect location for shops and local pubs. Short drive from Chester (25 mins). Nice outdoor seating area.

Parking isn’t very clear and we drove down the front of the house not realising there was no parking at rear but once the neighbour told us we sorted it out.

Great stay at the bright, airy and extremely clean cottage. It was ideal for my two girlfriends and I for a short break. It had a very well equipped kitchen, though we ate out at Hartford Hall and Chimes. They were both within walking distance and served excellent food.
The single beds were narrow and this bedroom would not have been suitable for anyone other than children or small ladies.

Lovely house we booked last minute because the hotel we had booked cancelled a week before our stay. As it happened the house was perfect, we were going to a wedding locally. It was spotlessly clean,well equipped and has a great location. There was everything we needed and more, would definitely book again if we were in the area.

such a quaint cottage tastefully decorated & styled for comfort lots of little touches gave it the home from home feel - spotlessly clean - we loved the use of the little courtyard as the weather was lovely perfect for our stay 5 minutes from Davenham - Host was attentive and on hand as we got a little lost locating it (behind 16) -we made a couple of last minute requests which Pam went out of her way to accommodate- great communication - great host would highly recommend- thank you xx

clean and comfortable. liked having the patio and being able to sit outside. perfect for TWO people.
Would have liked a better variety of cooking equipment, ie more than one saucepan and some Pyrex bowls or similar to use in microwave. more cutlery. hair dryer was difficult to find as hidden under duvet in cupboard. only found on last day!

This is a brilliant place to stay.
Very home from home, both comfortable and plenty of space for four people. Excellent location and everything you need for your stay.
Will definitely book again and would recommend this cottage for any purpose stay.

Pam's property was beyond cosy, perfect for these December nights. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I spent 3 days there and didn't want to leave by the end of it haha!

THere were several things which we loved about the property, but it is the small details like milk and tea bags being there for when we arrived
Driveway was a bit small for out Transit Campervan, but that was our fault because our vehicle was large

Spotlessly clean , very comfortable, good WiFi ,short drive to supermarkets,5 minute walk to a hotel for good food or a drink.

The cottage was spotless, newly decorated and all facilities as expected.
Unfortunately we found the beds very uncomfortable as they were much too hard (in both bedrooms)
As country folk, we found the traffic noise very disturbing despite the cottage being set back from the busy road.

If the washing machine is provided, it will be perfect. However, the owner has already stated in the description. This is only my own choice. The cottage is actually an excellent place to stay.
