Residence Gudauri Hills

It was very nice hotel with small build in kitchen and a washing machine which was very useful for my kids and preparing meals for my baby. Great Value for money though.

Their TV didn't work for 2 days and they need to work more on their cleanliness. Rest everything was good.

We stayed here with my family and had a very good experience. The place was clean and comfortable, and everything was well organized. Ramaz at reception was especially helpful and friendly. He made us feel welcome and helped with everything we needed. We really appreciated his hospitality and would definitely stay here again.

Quite a good property with good parking space and good views. All required amenities are available in the room such as stove top, fridge, utensils, cutlery, washing machine etc. We came here by car so had a good secure parking for our car. Spar and Carrefour are a few minutes drive nearby and so are the restaurants. Rooms are cleaned every day and overall cleanliness is very well maintained. You have elevators to take you up to the rooms and there is a good restaurant in the hotel itself for breakfast and all meals.

In the summer time the room may get quite warm especially when the sun is on the western side of the hotel. At night I felt that the room needed some ventilation as there is no air conditioning so we partly opened the door upper side for air circulation, it may lead to some flying insects entering.

Room we got was not what we ordered, we specified double bed in room 1 and two sofa beds in room two, got a sofa bed next to two connected single beds in room 1 and a sofa bed in room 2. Reception kindly said that’s it, they’re full and the sofa bed is too big to be moved through the door to room 2, no sorry, no we’ll make it up to you, nothing. Kindly with a smile but basically “that’s wha you get, deal with it”. Never experienced anything like this was that was the determining factor in my poor score of the property. Also sofa beds have the thinnest mattress hence are unbelievable uncomfortable even for my kids. Asked for a possibility of a second mattress to be added for their comfort - was met with “no, can’t do, we don’t have any spare, we’re full” again no, sorry, no we’ll try something to make it up, nothing. There’s no double beds, all are two singles next to each other, comfortable at least but again not what we specified in the choices that were given upon booking. Lastly there was no coffee for two days at breakfast as the machine broke and the staff didn’t offer any alternative. Truly shocking such basics like bed layout, comfortable sleep and coffee at breakfast weren’t met.
