A disabled parking bay would be great. I am disabled, the car park was full of cars and vans. So to not block anyone in, I had to park at the foot of a very steep incline and walk back up it.

The design team covered most of the bases. the bunks are longer than average. The door and bathroom windows have built in shades. And there are hooks a-plenty in the bunk rooms. Functional lay out in the kitchens and lounge area too.

My complaint is with the plastic wrapping over the mattresses. Important to ensure hygiene, but it makes for a sweaty night.

Handy for the Corran ferry, serviceable for a night

This seems to have been built / refurbished quite recently, but in a very cheap and slap dash fashion. The one window (in the bathroom) refused to close and I had to ask staff for assistance in shoving it shut, it not being fitted properly. Everything has a general DIY not fully finished vibe, for example the wooden bunk ladder being rough and unsanded in parts and scratches you. Overall it’s fine but just bizarrely rushed looking, random screws in the wall and no art, bathroom sliding doors that only have a narrow opening, no charging points by the bed etc.
