The host and his mother are absolutely wonderful. The breakfast was abundant and the swimming pool fantastic.

Freda and Yanni are great hosts and can’t do enough for you. The rooms have everything you need and are serviced twice a week, all rooms have a sea view and the pool area is beautiful, surrounded by flowers and garden.

Yianni and Frieda the owners are exceptional. very friendly. spotlessly clean, they even empty the room bins and changed the bedding every 3 day !

The hosts and the property are so lovely. Clean, simple and open feeling. Amazing breakfasts, nice greenery and cool breezy room with a great ocean view! Nice short walk into the local village of Panormo which is a great place to stay. The pool is well cared for and mostly quiet. Yianni and his mother are absolutely lovely and provided us with everything we needed and more. Great start to our holiday...!

Good location just outside Panormos, Rethymno region, about 8-10 mins walk from the town center. Small friendly hotel apartments with good size pool. Yannis & his mother, Frieda exceptionally helpful to everyone. All the guests we met have come back to the hotel several times so that must be a good recommendation in itself. Fresh home grown food & eggs available.

Too close to main road even though 200 meters away, but soon got used to background noise & that of the 'crickets' in the surrounding trees.

Jannis and his mom were excellent hosts. We felt their kindness and helpfulness all the time. The apartment were clean and tidy with an excellent view to the sea. It was ideal for us to stay at Knossos Apartment as it is close to the city but calm and silent at nights so we could rest between our daily trips of discovering Crete.
