The front desk spoke great English and had all the information and pictures to show exactly what to expect, where to park, how to use the house facilities etc. There was a whatsapp line which I could contact the management office for help, e.g. seek for more heaters, ask questions etc... and all in English which is much appreciated.
I love that there were 2 toilets which is crucial for group travel, Netflix was a big winner, I love the separate hallway area and the heated floorboards. Kudos to the designer!
It was not easy to find the AAF office. It was unclear where to go collect keys to the apt. Booking.com confirmation email gave the wrong address for key collection. It led me to another rental apt which was occupied by another guest who was kind enough to point me to "All About Furano" head office, which in turn finally directed me to the rightful AAF office to collect keys for check in.

The location is in the middle of town, approximately 10-12 minutes by car to the entrance of the snowy mountain. There are plenty of local restaurants, supermarket, and a chemist within walking distance or 2-4 mins by car.
It would have been perfect if the parking spot were beside the house like most others. However, given that the parking spot is only meters away (across the road in an alley), it is totally acceptable when it is not raining or snowing.
