The lady who runs the place is super nice.
Unfortunately I've had an accident with the motorbike she rented me, which reported some minor damage.
Based on some reviews I was scared she would have charged me millions for the damages, she instead asked for an absolutely reasonable amount which was exactly the one asked by the local mechanic.
The guesthouse is just in front of the sea where you can (unlike other properties nearby) go snorkeling even during low tide.
It also makes for good sleeping because
you don't hear motorbikes from the road behind nor chickens nor dogs (again, unlike other properties in the area where you definitely need earplugs).
The sink in the toilet is small and the lights are a bit low but it's just minor stuff you don't really care about, the location is great

The staff was really kind, always open to help you. The food in the restaurant was really nice and the atmosphere was special.

Mel and her team were amazing, it was like being at a home away from home. The cafe had delicious food and the staff were so helpful. We booked all of our tours through Mel and she made it so easy. The accomodation was perfect, steps off the deck straight into the water and a coral reef to snorkel at right in front of the accomodation.
We will be back, the best place to stay in Penida!
