The staff was so friendly and the place was very peaceful

Lack of gate keys, i had to call every time when entering the property.

The serenity of the environment, friendly and professional staff😊and the location .

It would be good if there was plenty of parking space for the customers.

Our stay was a very comfortable. The guest house was clean, the beds were comfortable, linen was great, and the rooms were spacious. We had our own separate lounge with a view over the pool, which made it spacious, and convenient to eat meals there with our children. There were fans and aircon (a little noisy, but they worked). The rooms were very quiet and we were hardly aware of the other guests in the guest house. We could come and go as we liked, once we had been given a gate remote. The pool and garden were pretty. We did not eat any meals there, so can not rate the restaurant, but it is handy to have on site

Our main concern was that the area wasn't great. I like to be able to walk or run, and didn't feel very safe going out alone. The 'bad' area of JHB was very close to us, and our road didn't feel safe to me. However, the security at the BnB was good and I never felt nervous at all once inside the property. A second issue was the kitchen facilities. Although there was a fridge, a sink. a kettle and cupboards, there was no means of cooking (no stove top or microwave), and almost no cutlery etc. For a 2-sleeper room, there was: 2 small teacups; 1 butter knife, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 1 plate and a soup bowl. 2 glasses. Absolutely no other bowls, pots or anything. So, be prepared that this place is not really set up for self-catering, even though the separate lounge/'kitchen' area is spacious and comfortable.
