Alice Cottage was the perfect holiday stay for us. quiet location. well equipped, everything we required.

nothing we didn’t like

The cottage was in a good setting, with plenty of room, great countryside and quiet place to work from and explore the local area.
The bed was very warm, with a range of quilted covers on the mattress and pillows which made it quite uncomfortable at night. Sound insulation in the walls would have helped as you could hear quite clearly what people were doing in the adjoining cottages. We were advised that bed linen and towels would be changed at the end of our first week of the fortnight stay which did not transpire. Check in and check out times were quite different to the norm at 9:30am and 4pm.
