Amazing property, very spacious and modern situated perfectly next to the Pantheon

There was a door code. However, the entry was dark with no lighting.It was relatively easy to gain entry into the foyer of the apartment building BUT the door code is problematic. My sister tried several times and it did not work. She arrived at 7pm and was stuck in the entry way for over 45 minutes. She called the contact numbers provided (office and after hours number) however, no one answered. After trying over 12 times with the door code, she finally managed to gain entry. She was actually going to give up and look to see if she could book another hotel room somewhere else!! First and foremost, I would like to explain that it is hard enough navigating any new city after a long haul flight. Let alone the fact you are on your own and you arrive into Rome at night.The property managers state “they are at your disposal” and you should not hesitate to call the contact numbers if you have any issues . So it’s absolutely unacceptable that no one answers the call. We were so disappointed at the lack of response on the night of check in. The next morning, we got a return call and then the day after a text to ask how our stay was going…. There is an issue with the system (Vikey) that is used to open the front door of the apartment and the door handle is problematic. So , all I can say is it was a comfortable apartment, spacious and clean with a good location. Unfortunately due to issues gaining entry…anyone intending to book should be aware that the property managers may not respond in a timely manner if you have any issues.

La ubicación es muy turística, a media cuadra del Panteón. Es ideal si buscas estar en pleno centro y te gusta el bullicio de la zona

El anfitrión se justifica diciendo que el edificio es antiguo, pero una cosa es la antigüedad y otra muy distinta la falta de mantenimiento y de higiene. Las zonas comunes tienen paredes rotas con tuberías expuestas, parches de cemento sin pintar y acumulación de basura en la entrada. Dentro del apartamento la situación no mejora: nos encontramos con vajilla sucia (vasos con marcas evidentes) y ropa de cama en mal estado y con manchas. Además, un dato importantísimo que no se advierte con claridad: el edificio no tiene ascensor y el acceso es exclusivamente a través del teléfono móvil (no dejan llaves físicas en el alojamiento). Esto es un peligro real; si te quedas sin batería, sin datos o no tienes buena señal de internet, te quedas literalmente en la calle sin poder entrar. Las fotos hablan por sí solas.
