We've stayed in plenty of places that are perfectly fine and completely forgettable. This was the opposite. Michela made us feel like visiting friends rather than paying guests, and the area around the flat is a proper neighbourhood — shops where people know each other, neighbours saying hello, the kind of local life you normally never get near as a tourist. Nothing about it felt like a business, where you hand over the money, sleep and are shown the door. We left knowing the place, not just having slept in it. Perfect and quiet base for visits to Pisa, Lari, Pontadera and Livorno. Highly recommended

Nothing at all , well i wish we could stay a bit longer ;-)

Non abbiamo usufruito della colazione - proprietaria gentilissima e disponibilissima .

We were on a road trip and going to both the Matteo and Andrea Bocelli concerts in the Teatro del Silenzio which is a 20km drive across country roads, now that 20km will take you 30 minutes at least but that was perfect for us. The apartment is in a good location for the town centre and the public baths and there is lots of free public parking close by. The girl who met us with the keys spoke perfect English and was very helpful in explaining the parking locations. The room was large with everything one would need to cook if they were that way inclined, of course we did not except for a cup of tea in the mornings. The Aircon was very good, the bed very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious with an easy to step in shower. We ate in Ristorante il MERLO in the town on our first night and it was the new owners first night also and we enjoyed the food.

Proximity to town center. Very friendly and helpful owner Michela. Cottage equipped with all we needed.

Having to leave !
