de Wingerd B & B

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, well-maintained property. Our first impression was excellent—the charming Cape Dutch-style old house is full of character and very inviting. We were warmly welcomed by Heleen, who made us feel right at home. Our room was neat, clean, and spacious enough for a couple, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom facilities were also spotless and in very good condition. The property is situated in a lovely, quiet neighbourhood, making it a peaceful place to relax. Breakfast was lovely, fresh, and more than sufficient to start the day. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and charming place to stay.

Nothing to complain of

The property is absolutely beautifully appointed, gorgeous high ceilings and wonderful decor. The rooms are large and spacious with good amenities. Great coffee and tasty breakfast.

Unfortunately the fridge in the room was quite noisy so it was disturbing during the night. Breakfast times were somewhat restrictive from 0700-0830 which means you have to get up early on your holiday if you want to have breakfast at the property.

Very comfortable accommodation in the centre of town. Excellent breakfast (taken outside in the courtyard). Restaurants, museums, coffee shops etc all within easy walking distance.

N.A

The guesthouse is exceptionally well located. The lady welcomed us friendly and provided plates and utensils for our braai. The bed and bedding were extremely comfortable.

The door to the bathroom was broken and couldn't close. They didn't provide a roster for the braai so in the end we couldn't have our braai and had to go to a restaurant. The wifi signal was very poor and other guests came knocking at our door for us to move our car although we parked where the lady said we must park.
