Hotel TREVA

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel TREVA in Shkodër! Having traveled to many hotels around the world, I can honestly say the service provided by Rudi (who seems to run the place) was exceptional and unmatched. Rudi truly went above and beyond for our family-arranging taxis and transfers, recommending great local spots, and even making restaurant reservations for us. Even when unexpected travel hiccups happened, he stayed in constant touch via WhatsApp to ensure everything was fine and that we were fully taken care of. You can feel the genuine warmth and hospitality from the moment you arrive. The location is absolutely perfect just an 8 minute walk from the main pedestrian street, with everything you need nearby, including all the famous local restaurants. The hotel itself is not a luxury resort, but it is spotlessly clean, highly comfortable, and very welcoming. The rooms are spacious, the beds are super comfy, the shower is great, and there were plenty of fresh towels. Room cleaning was provided promptly whenever requested. A highlight for us was the charming garden patio where breakfast is served ,it’s also a lovely, peaceful spot to relax in the evening. To be objective, a few minor details could be improved: the breakfast options are somewhat repetitive, there are no fresh fruits, and instead of an espresso machine, standard coffee is served. However, these small details didn't bother our family at all. This isn't a place for people looking for high end luxury, but if you want an authentic, clean, and warm home base, it’s ideal. It serves as a perfect launching pad for day trips around the region, including Theth, Komani Lake, and Shkodër itself. I want to clarify that I wasn't asked to write this review, nor do I get anything out of it. this comes straight from the heart. We will definitely return here on our next trip to Albania! I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel TREVA to anyone visiting Shkodër.

Nothing, as I said it’s not a luxury hotel but great place with great service

Very friendly staff, which is not to be taken for granted in Albania. It is also incredible value for money and especially appreciated being able to park our motorbikes in the courtyard. Location is very close to pedestrian area.

Single room is very small but on other hand it was very cheap. Breakfast could have been better (warmer eggs, better bread) but this is nitpicking given the value for money.

Had a lovely garden, staff were welcoming, room was clean and quiet

The photos of the room I booked showed a balcony. But this was from the second floor not the third floor where the balcony was used for the cleaner’s washing and didn’t have chair and table or easy access to utilise. I booked because of the balcony so was a bit disappointed.
