Beach House Hotel

Great location

Only that my room was at the back. Perfectly comfortable and I would stay again

The reception staff were very efficient and friendly. The bar area was lovely as were the staff particularly the young man. Location was good too fairly handy to town. I would recommend it and hopefully your welcome at breakfast would be better than ours .

Breakfast was ok though we found the white haired lady to be rather brusque. She didn’t welcome us with a “ good morning “ just said “pick a table set up for two “ then pointed to a table Not set up with cutlery ? We felt the atmosphere very much reflected her attitude. And we felt very uncomfortable. The fruit consisted mainly apple chunks and only thin natural yougurt no Greek yogurt offered.eggs Benedict was nice. The carpet in our room was badly stained.

Loved the views of the sea beautiful location Staff exceptional really made the stay enjoyable especially the two chaps in the bar area in the evening who went out of their way to be helpful Very dog friendly place Great food

The staff were phenomenal and incredibly friendly. The room layout was perfect for travelling with three dogs.

Food was terrible, had to send back chips that weren't cooked and send back a salad that had really brown leaves. The mashed potato and chicken were both very dry and the mains came out within short minutes of the starter plates going back so felt, and tasted reheated rather than cooked. Gate not secure on the terrace, the dogs were able to just push it open. The additional dog charge was also a bit OTT at £25 per dog for one night.. So my three westies, staying for one night cost an extra £75. And the gate to the terrace wasnt even secured for them. Had the room and staff not been so good I'd have been fairly annoyed but it's been a nice weekend regardless
