The proprietor and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Margerie would help us with arranging transportation and was flexible when there were changes in our itinerary. The hostel has a relaxed social atmosphere with interesting guests from around the world.
The shared kitchen was overcrowded at meal times.

The staff were great! Loved the private room, perfect temperature, very clean, nice view and lighting. The shower was a little cold but refreshing.

The owner was great. He helped in how to make the most of your time in Monteverde, made great suggestins and helped with bookings. I was able to send friends to the place with confidence.

Good location. Quiet at night. Free coffee and eggs and toast for breakfast.
The worst bed ever in a double room. I could feel the springs it was actually painful.
