Stayed for a night - while transitioning around Lago Atitlan! Solid stay for a night (our case). Fair room, had basic amenities (a/c included), but not much on top (e.g a mini fridge). Nothing bad at all, just nothing really stood out.

It’s a little bit hidden (location-wise), though not difficult to find. Mattress was quite hard as well.

This place is a little gem. It is so clean and has a great powerful shower. The staff are very helpful and friendly

The hotel was down a long alleyway which wasn't well marked. But when you got to the end it was a little oasis.

The location is great! It's right in the heart of the lake area vendor district but removed enough it is quiet at night, no mopeds or tuk tuks, just a random dog and only heard a gallon once 🙂. The kitchen is very nice and a communal refridgerator (no freezer, though). The room also has a fan, which was great as sometimes it would get a bit warm. To note,the bed was HARD, but doable. Over all, I found my regular stay for Pana after about 6 visits here! One HUGE winner for me is the signs they have posted against sexual abuse and trafficking. As a survivor this really won me over!

Nothing really. There was one night someone was ringing the buzzer and banging on the door for 30 minutes around 2am. I called the phone numbers for the owners and no one responded. Thankfully whoever it was eventually stopped.

The location was great!

What I really didn't like is that we had payed in advance and out receipts was itemized and it showed all charges including two types of tax charges. What we paid according to the receipt wand 308 quetzales. During the check in process we were asked to pay for another city tax according to the attendant. I showed my receipt but her response was this how much it is leave or take it. She did not gave any explanation to what type of tax this was. It felt more like she just decided to give us an extra charged. I paid because I was not going to have an interaction with her for 30 questzales and we were tired. But I guess I'm writing this because it should not happen. If you have paid in advance and no one has informed of additional charges then it should not happen. Especially without a real explanation.
