Beautifully decorated house in a great location. All the home comforts.

This outstanding cottage is a dream to be in. We visited for the first time last year for a family wedding then booked for a weeks holiday which we have just had.
Everything about this cottage is comfort,, luxury ,top class and very homely.
The snug on the landing was my little haven in the morning as the sun shone through.
The cream tea welcome pack alongside a pint of milk, tea and coffee are touches that truly stand out.

Cleanest property I have ever stayed. Very comfortable. Beds really good too. Loved this house. great location. fantastic response from lady who looks after the property & any issues - we had an issue with a lock & it was resolved quickly - made all the difference (excellent customer service). So clean!
No washing machine. Parking v. difficult (pit luck if you got a spot) but it wouldn’t put me off renting it.
I booked through booking.com who I believe book through Sykes. I requested to add1 day to my stay (increase from 7 nights to 8. Response looked like 1 night would cost way more (as if new booking) but I was already saying m7 nights. I then sent email explaining I just wanted an extra night added on snd if they would reach out to the owner - heard nothing back. Suspect booking.com or Sykes didn’t reach out (there was no one staying after me so sure owner would have liked an extra night).

It was very clean and in a great location for getting all along the coast by train or bus. The kitchen was fully equipped and a real treat to have on a holiday.
The only thing I’d say is that the stair banister was a little loose and there was no washing machine.

Loved the house, beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for the perfect stay. Also really enjoyed the little suntrap back yard. The milk, cake and biscuits welcome pack was great especially as we were desperate for a cuppa on arrival! The little reading area was a definte plus for us as well, it has a wide variety of fiction for both adult and children and some local area information. What was really useful was the folder of information on the house and surrounding area supplied by the owner. Took a while to find it though, maybe leaving it on the table for arrivals might be helpful.
We didn't have a car and the house is an easy walk to shops, restaurants and local bus and train services although the last bit of it is uphill on the way back!

The house was lovely very close to the centre of Dawlish. Well equipped and very clean.
There is only street parking outside the property. We did not manage to park outside at all during or stay, but did manage to park on streets nearby. The kitchen is very well equipped but a washing machine would make the house perfect.

Clean and cosy. Scones and clotted cream was such a lovely touch.
