Terrazze Villanova

The host was very nice and gave me some great tips for activities and dinner spots. I booked a different room, but it was not available so I got an even bigger room. This room was big and very clean. The cafe for breakfast was very close (on the other side of the road) and had many options for coffee, juices, croissants, sandwiches and more. Would definitely recommend!

Fantastically welcoming hosts Elda & Vito, very friendly and helpful, our room was spacious, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Coffee, tea and cool drinking water available all day is a lovely little extra.

High ratings for the hosts Elda and Vito who answered every little question I had, helped me plan my day trips, and Vito even gave us a tour of the Trapani salt pans AND drove another guest and I to the Trapani port for our ferry ride to Favignana. Their love and knowledge of Trapani is great. There was daily room cleaning. Umbrellas and beach towels were available for borrowing. The upper terrace has clothes lines to dry your clothes - much appreciated. There is an endless supply of drinking water (and coffee/tea.) While there isn't a stove in the shared kitchen, there is a microwave and large refrigerator with a kitchen sink. My room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and I could not hear the street noise from my room. The place is somewhat conducive to meeting other guests; another solo traveler and I ended up going to Favignana together which was very nice. The location is good. While it lacks the charm of the historic center it feels like a real city where folks live and work. If you like to walk, it's a good point between the port/train station and the lift to Erice. There are buses just steps away and one that goes to Palermo airport across the street. There are some nice cafes and restaurants as well as a supermarket. Trapani is a nice base for exploring Erice, Segesta and the boats to the Egadi islands. All doable without a car.

My room wasn't as nice as pictured. There was peeling and stains on the ceiling, which was disappointing, especially for a place with a 4-star rating. There was an intense noise whenever I used the bathroom sink, shower or toilet, and I worried it would bother other guests. Note: the water in the bathroom (and kitchen) isn't potable, though unlimited drinking water is available in the common area.

mia madre ha soggiornato qui dal 20 al 25 luglio 2026. la camera e l'intera casa è pulita con tutti i comfort, dalla terrazza alla cucina e spazi comuni. un grande merito è l'accoglienza dei gestori estremamente disponibili e mi hanno dato un sacco di indicazioni preziose. la casa si trova nel centro città con tutte le opzioni vicine e comode per visitare la città
