We had a great stay at Vila Caracol. It is exactly as described and pictured. The villa is incredibly peaceful and has beautiful scenery - perfect to sit out on the balcony at night. The pool, table tennis, and pool table are a perfect addition too. It is only a short taxi ride to all you could need in Albufeira - old town, the strip, the marina, and Algarve Shopping.
Communication with the host was great and check in instructions were very clear.
We would happily stay again (and hopefully will next year).

Location was lovely and quiet, so peaceful at night
Not the villas fault, but the weather was extremely hot, upper 30's, so sitting out was a challenge :)
Handy location to get to Albufeira, Algarve shopping centre was 5 mins away, Lagos was only 30 mins in the car.
The beds could be bigger. We stayed in the double bed, but when you are used to a King size, it was a bit cramped :)
The settee in the living room needs to be replaced. very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time, we had to use the spare pillows for extra support.
Getting bitten by midges, stayed out of the pool (which was cold) after 2 days being bitten
