Les travaux à côté et le bruit de la rue toute la nuit - rue très festive

We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment. The location is very convenient, around a 5-minute walk from the beginning of the main city-centre walking area, so it was easy to explore Porto on foot. The apartment was spacious and had everything we needed for our stay, including cutlery, basic cleaning supplies, a sponge and dish soap. The check-in was also very quick and smooth: we contacted the host via WhatsApp and received the access codes promptly. Communication was easy and straightforward. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We were three people, the sheets and towels were clean, and the apartment was spacious and comfortable. None of the above issues disrupted our trip, and we would happily stay here again.

One thing worth mentioning is the sound insulation. At the time of our stay in September 2026, there were construction works nearby, with drilling noise generally starting around 9:30am and continuing for part of the afternoon. This is obviously beyond the host's control, and it did not affect our stay too much as we were usually out during the day and woke up before that time, but it is something future guests may want to be aware of. For a short stay, it would also have been nice to have small portions of basic cooking essentials such as salt, sugar and oil. These would be particularly useful for guests who want to prepare something quick without having to buy full-size products. Finally, as the apartment can get quite warm in summer, having at least one functioning fan available would be a great addition. It was already quite hot during our stay in September, and although we managed without one, I imagine it could be much more difficult in August, especially as the apartment faces the main street and doesn't get a lot of cool air.

La ubicación es muy buena tanto para conocer como para salir de noche. Esta por una calle llena de bares y restaurantes con mucho movimiento nocturno.

No tiene aire acondicionado ni ventilador, hacian 30 grados y no se podia estar. Estuvimos en fin de semana y abriendo las ventanas el ruido de la calle era insoportable, no pudimos dormir en la noche.

No A/C, very noisy during the evening and half night, smoke of cigarettes, mould in the shower. Overall - the flat was cozy 10 years ago, now being used to max tourist stay, thus everything inside is quite teared.
