Great location and very helpful owners

Maria the properietor was an attentive host and very helpful in getting us information. We loved the upper level terrace outside of the one-bedroom apartment we stayed in. There is also a larger two-bedroom apartment on that level. Much cooler than the coasts so bring some jackets and see the life in a vibrant Greek village with two active churches, goat and sheep raising, and sophisticated musical culture and archaeological history. Prasini Folio booked us a reservation at a terrific restaurant with live music. Go up to the hills as Maria told us and see the excavated Minoan palace complex, the Ideon Cave and geological landscape where Cretans say Zeus was born in the Mt Psiloritis Geopark. We were sad that the Archeological Information Center was not open.

Communicate with Maria about which room is best before you arrive.

It was so good to stay in a traditional house in a village unspoilt by mass tourism. Our apartment had character and charm and the view was superb! Maria is an excellent host. She was always available to ask for advice about places to visit or to eat and her little extra touches in the apartment were very thoughtful. We loved our stay!

very difficult to locate there is no sign on the entrance and no clear directions were available. unfortunately, the shower door was missing (broken??) and taking a shower left the place slippery and flooded…
