Nice view
Very difficult to get there and it didn’t feel safe. Won’t recommend anyone to get there after dark.

Great location to see Mt Batur. Such a beautiful place giving you a stunning view of the mountains and the village. Considering the price, it is really great value for money. Beautiful room and outdoor bathroom. Limited choice of food, but with very low prices. My husband enjoyed the local morning market very much! We bought several bags of yummy mangosteen and mangoes at a very low price.
However, two things you must be aware of before going there:
First is there're hundreds and thousands of flies during the daytime in the area. If you keep the door open, the flies will get into the room, and they die very soon after entering the room, leaving lots of deed bodies. If you shut the door, it will be really warm inside, as there is no air-conditioning or a fan.
Second, make sure your driver knows which way is safer to get there. Otherwise, call the villa to ask.

View was unreal, easy to get to mount Batur and the hotel can help with tours which take you to see the black lava as-well. This tour was relatively cheap aswell compared to prices on get your guide it was half price for a private keep tour, just make sure you bring a jacket because it’s freezing in the morning. The jeep tour is included int eh pictures.
Flies everywhere, cannot be help though due to surrounding farm lands.
Hard to get away from the property, grab doesn’t work up there and the owner had to call us a taxi which was rather expensive compared to the prices on grab. However the taxi driver was beyond lovely.

The view is just amazing. The sunrise, the sunset ...at any time of the day. The room was really nice and the bathroom is really cute
The swimming pool was not available. It was dirty and they started to clean it at 14 and was ready in the evening....and I was leaving the next morning so very disappointing. The WiFi didn't work for some hours due to an issue with electricity, the hot water just lasted 5min, and they food.was average. The place is difficult to get and isolated so don't expect to find restaurants. Not even a small market for groceries. They did not ask me if I wanted to do the trekking nor if I needed transportation, luckily I arranged my own transport with a driver.
