The location was amazing, nestled in the hills above the hope valley, it was beautifully quiet and picturesque. The owner was also incredibly generous with check-out time when we requested a later departure. Also, there is Hope Valley ice-cream just around the corner, which was a delicious surprise!

Gezellig maar wel wat klein appartement. De douchevoorziening is slecht. Mooi uitzicht en lekker rustig.

Lovely setting, quiet and peaceful. Able to charge our electric car

Location. Very peaceful even if it was 25 min walk from where I was teaching and then where the conference was.

The showers did not work even following the instructions, I had to use saucepans and fill them with hot water from the sink. It took me two days to work out how to get the bedroom heater to work (someone must have fiddled with it). When I arrived the top smoke alarm was going like mad. I went to the cottage but the lady didn’t know because she wasn’t the owner. Talking to the electrician we finally disconnected it from the mains. I was asked if I was happy not to have a smoke alarm on the top floor. I said I was not happy so she went and bought a battery operated one.
