Breakfast was not included, but the location is fairly convenient to key attractions and Basel Airport. The kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary appliances (refrigerator, oven, and stovetop). The apartment is exceptionally large, making it a great choice for a big family: plenty of space so everyone can move around comfortably without feeling crowded.
The host was incredibly charming and went above and beyond, quickly fixing a few technical and cleaning issues within two hours.
It didn't give the authentic Black Forest nature experience. The apartment sits right on a main road, making entering and exiting a bit tricky and stressful. Having only one bathroom/shower is cumbersome for a family. The interior feels like it was pieced together over time with random additions, lacking a natural layout (though some people might not mind). Note that there are many mosquitoes in the region, which is common for the Black Forest. Overall, things were mostly fine.
