The cutest house!! I loved my stay! And yes, you have to make the bed yourself but it's a few minutes work. Good communciation with host, location was very quiet but close to plenty of things (in Secret Lagoon, must do!). Had everything I needed, kitchen, bathroom. Also option to do laundry (I did not get any done). And open skies so great for Northern Lights if visible and beautiful views during the day, snowy mountains!
Wifi was sometimes pretty slow (especially at night) and could use a good cleaning, especially under the beds and kitchenblock, otherwise pretty clean! And there were two foldable chairs inside which was fine but would have also been nice to have a more comfortable chair to sit on for a longer period of time. But I would 100% come back here, best stay in Iceland during my trip!

Very peaceful location, ideal for exploring the South Coast.
Easy access to a Bonus supermarket in Selfoss (10 mins)
The sign from the main road could be bigger

a standalone cabin. tiny, neat, clean, quiet. you get your own wc and your own kitchen (not very often in icealnd, in my experience). just understand what you are booking: a tiny cabin. if you want a place to re-pack your three king-size lugguage items, or cook a four-course chef meal - maybe not the place for you. otherwise - very nice.

The owner explained the route to the cabin in details, so we had no issues finding the place. It’s super cozy, comfortable, all the necessary cooking amenities are present, great value for money! The cabin is a bit on the colder side, but we later appreciated it, as most rentals in Iceland run way too hot. Convenient location right at the Golden Circle. The owner is very responsive and helpful ❤️
The cabin is a bit small: needed to rearrange the suitcases regularly for cooking, eating and sleeping.
