Value for money, very supportive owner/manager, location, breakfast.

We stayed at York House Hotel during a trip with friends, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Istanbul with friends or family. The room size is quite compact, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Since most of your time in Istanbul is usually spent outside exploring, it was more than sufficient for us. The location is also really convenient and makes it easy to get around and visit many of Istanbul’s main attractions. The breakfast was also good and a nice way to start the day before heading out to explore the city. What really made our stay special, though, was the hospitality and support from the staff, especially Gökhan, the owner and manager. He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive even before we arrived in Istanbul. He helped us arrange an airport shuttle, which comes at an additional cost as it is not included in the room package. The shuttle was safe, comfortable, and very convenient. Once we arrived, Gökhan gave us plenty of useful information about places to visit and things to do around Istanbul. He even welcomed us with simit and made sure we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. One experience really showed how helpful he was: we accidentally lost a scarf at a store on Istiklal Street. Gökhan helped us contact the store, followed up with them, and immediately shared their response with us — and luckily, we managed to find the scarf! 😊 Throughout our stay, whenever we asked for anything, such as extra towels or water, the response was immediate. He was also very responsive through WhatsApp and messages. Overall, I would highly recommend York House Hotel. It is a great choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, practical place to stay in a very convenient location, especially if you plan to spend most of your days exploring Istanbul. The good breakfast, friendliness, hospitality, and genuine support from Gökhan and the team really made a difference to our stay.
