The breakfast items left for us was just exactly enough for the duration of our stay. A very unusual accommodation with impressive and unique features. The staircase design was unexpected but put the property in its historical context. A good location for short walks.
The shower was lukewarm - it would have been good for us both to have a hot shower. Only 2 sheets of paper kitchen towel was left on the roll for mop ups (although 4 cotton kitchen towels were available). We had brought our own towels as required, but didn’t realise that no hand towel would be provided in the shower/ toilet. We would have liked a few more logs for the fireplace.

Good breakfast supplies. Lovely log fire. Heated bathroom floor. Excellent host was very helpful. Lots of character.
Bedroom upstairs but bathroom is downstairs. (Very steep narrow stairs)
Bed not as firm as I would have liked.
Living room is quaint and cosy but could do with better lighting. It’s very dim in the daytime.

No towels provided, which doesn't matter but had she not mentioned it on the phone we wouldn't have realised.
