Struttura semplice ma super local, proprietari molto gentili x organizzare semuc e spostamenti vari, ottimo il servizio di prelievo alla stazione autobus di lanquin, struttura molto pulita, possibilità di lavare e stendere i vestiti (soprattutto post semuc champey), tour suggerito da loro molto valido, costo basso del soggiorno

Difficoltà nel raggiungere la struttura ( molto scivolosa la strada in caso di pioggia), stanza minima e poco ventilata

Mary is fantastic. She can arrange all kinds of tours for you. The hostel has all the right facilities. The bathroom is clean, with a great shower.

On a aimé Mary qui s'est bien occupée de nous. Pour que notre séjour se passe au mieux. On vient vous chercher au bus a l'arrivée et on vous y dépose pour le depar en tuc tuc. Mary propose deux tours un pour Semuc et un autre pour le Cacao...un conseil foncez sans hésitation ! Pour Semuc Mary propose de louer des chaussures d'eau...pas cher 30 par personne. Le tour de Semuc coûte 200/pers et celui du café 150/pers. C'est exceptionnel. Le tuc tuc vous amène jusqu'à l'hôtel...la descente est absolument a faire....c'est plutôt incroyable a vivre! Vous pouvez lui demander de faire votre billet de depart.

Location was good

The worst place I've been to in Guatemala, and by far not the cheapest. The main problem is that it is highly overpriced: all the negative points would have been acceptable if the price matched (I had the "deluxe" room with private bathroom). Most things feel cheap: the bed base still wrapped in plastic, the two useless fans (the one that works cannot point at the bed and the one which can is so weak that it is useless) or the strong artificial liquid soap used to refill an old plastic bottle. Because she didn't want to wait that previous payments (which were processed) arrive to her bank account, I had to move heaven and earth to pay her in cash. I explained to her that I did not have enough cash to pay the hotel, told her that my card does not work in the only ATM of the town and that no shop accepted it. Knowing all the complications I went through, it would have been nice to have at least a thank you, because technically I did all of this to solve her problem (which was a waiting situation more than a problem really). There is a water fountain to get water, but you can only get it while there is someone at the reception (otherwise it is closed) and the water is warm. Every single place I've been to (including cheaper places) offered, if not a refrigerator with water bottles inside, at least a water fountain in the room. If you want air during the night, you have to open the heavy curtains, but it implies that everyone passing by will see you in bed. Similarly, the bathroom is right next to reception with the ceiling not properly sealed, which means that privacy is not a strong point here. And one last strong negative aspect: cockroaches. Once again, every point of that review would have been acceptable if the price matched: unfortunately, the "deluxe" price did not correspond to a "deluxe" stay.
