Le Pavillon de la Kasbah & SPA Marrakech

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Wonderful host and staff

This would have been 10/10 but the deluxe room we had, had no doorway to the bathroom making privacy a little difficult.

De locatie is uitstekend. In de oude binnenstad op korte loopafstand van het centrum en veel restaurants. De kamers zijn prima. De bedden zijn uitstekend. We hebben prima geslapen. De staf is zeer gastvrij en vriendelijk. Het dakterras is leuk voor het ontbijt. Verder wordt dat weinig gebruikt. Dat zal mede komen door de vele terrassen in de omgeving. Moderne inrichting. Alles is verder keurig. Beneden bevind zich een fraaie Hamman die op verzoek kan worden geboekt. Marrakesh zelf is een hele leuke stad met bijzonder aardige mensen, fijn klimaat, en uren van wandel en snuffelplezier.

Het is echt een Pavillon. 10 kamers en verder niets. Je moet worden binnengelaten door aanbellen om er in te komen. Voor ons verder geen probleem. De badkamer is niet volledig afsluitbaar door de louvre deurtjes. Het zwembad water was koud. (Bijzonder genoeg)

The property is conveniently located in Kasbah district of Marrakech. Can drop off is under 1 min walk from the Hotel. Make sure your can driver (specially the Airport pick up) drops you form the cafe clock side which is nearest to the hotel. Jema Al Fena is in walkable distance (max 20 min) Plenty of restaurant and cafe can be found while you walk towards the Jema Al Fena square It’s very clean and tastefully decorated Room sizes are variable, depends what you chose during booking I guess The staff are friendly and helpful The roof top is nice where you can relax in the evenings Breakfast is also served at the rooftop There is swimming pool on the rooftop but I didn’t use that facility There is an elevator as well It’s not a typical Riad but they have tried to keep the lay out like the more traditional Riads you will find in Marrakech

Breakfast is good but there is no variety. You can ask for the type of eggs you want but rest of the items are same each day There is no tea / coffee facility in the room but you are provided with water in a pitcher

Comfortable bed, clean and bright room and furnishings. Modern, clean common parts. Great orange juice at breakfast. Helpful manager.

Shower small and annoying doors to get in and out. Main shower head didn’t work properly (dribble) but secondary ok. Nowhere to put shampoo, gel etc in the shower (so just have to leave tubes on the floor). TV had no signal for channels, so didn’t work. Breakfast was cold bread, cake etc, so nothing cooked. Not a great location.
