Sidney is super in giving always the right advice! Lots of suggestions to fully enjoy Curacao island!

My partner and I stayed at Turqouise B&B for four nights during our 2 week holiday to Curaçao. The location was perfect for exploring Otrabanda, Punda and Pietermaii. The Emma Bridge was around a 15 minute walk away and local bars and restaurants all within walking distance. We had one of the standard rooms on the ground floor with a separate WC and shower. Our room was well equipped with A/C, a safe, fridge, beach bag, mosquito spray and toiletries. The room was clean, we had plenty of towels and the bed was really comfortable. Whilst the property is in a safe neighbourhood we had the added comfort of an intruder alarm which was set when we were in the property as well as when out for the day. The lounge and kitchen were shared with other guests and complimentary (and good quality) tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. There was a beautiful courtyard at the rear of the property where we enjoyed breakfast al fresco every morning. The pattern from the colourful steps in Otrabanda has been replicated on the walls of the courtyard which makes it a colourful, vibrant and welcoming space. The outdoor wooden furniture was built by the host. During our stay we met a lovely young couple from Argentina. Turquoise had everything we needed and there were some lovely personal touches in the design and decoration which made it feel welcoming and homely. Breakfast was delivered to the property by our host, Sidney, every morning and comprised a good selection of boiled eggs, yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, fruit, pastries, jams and juices. Any dietary requirements or particular likes/dislikes were catered for. Sidney would then spend time talking to all the guests and helping them to plan their day. It would be remiss of any review not to mention the host, Sidney. He was without doubt the most friendly, welcoming, caring, thoughtful, considerate, compassionate and attentive host you will ever meet.

The Owners of the B&B were just amazing. They were super nice and helped us perfectly in planning our tours and visits with a lot of great recomendations. All rooms were super clean and decorated with much love. The breakfast was good. We felt very safe during our stay. Would definitively come back.

If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. Sydney & his wife (Normelien) truly make your stay worth it. I stayed for a week, and it went too fast. You start experiencing travel fever as soon as you start packing. Normelien reached out and wished me the best of luck with the travel via what's app ( this is what I call going above and beyond ). Sydney picked me up from the airport. Compared to other taxi prices, Sydney charged less, and on top of that, he drove me around as I went to a friend's wedding. Their hospitality is out of this world. You feel relaxed and at home as soon as you enter. Breakfast was always on time, and coffee was always available. Emma bridge is within walking distance Pirate Bay beach is also within walking distance if you fancy a walk next to the sea. All the restaurants are close by ( Chinese, Indian, local, and international) And many other things for you to discover Most importantly, the rooms had lovely Airconditioning ( keeping the inside cold), which was a great feeling after returning. This was the best choice because Sydney made my stay worth it, and I will travel back with my family next time.

Wow! This place is very clean and the bed/pillows are comfortable. It’s in a great location to explore the island. All toiletries, beach towels, beach bag/basket, mosquito spray and cooler are provided. The breakfast was good and there was plenty of food. The host was amazing! He gave us recommendations and checked in with us at least once a day. We will definitely be back for a longer stay at Turquoise B&B!

This is the only place where you want to stay at, when you visit the beautiful island of Curaçao. The hosts, Sidney and Normelien, are SOOOOOOOOOOO nice. They will make sure you have an excellent stay and help you with everything when needed. Sidney even catches little lizards for you if they accidentally sneaked into the house. Even I have honestly no words for how friendly these people are. The apartment has everything you need: a nice kitchen with all the tools you need, including coffee and tea, a really nice cosy bedroom with airconditioning and a lot of space in general: extra room for your suitcases and stuff and a nice living room. Sidney will come each day to bring you a nice breakfast and he will check if you are doing okay. The apartment is secured with an alarm and good locks! The apartment is situated quite central on the island which is ideal. You can walk to Willemstad or a short ride to one of the nice beaches. Normelien and Sidney already prepared a nice basket for you with beach towels, so what you waiting for? 😉 Ah yes, there might be one thing... you HAVE to have you photo taken in the garden, with the beautiful painted wall. I was the first guest to decline, because I hate my pictures taken 🤪 I am pretty sure the host is still heartbroken over it, so I have to go back soon to make things right.

Stop looking, you have found the perfect place! Easy, flat ten minute walk to the Queen Emma Bridge; bus stop for Westpunt close by (bus will take you right to the turtles!). Everything is new, nicely decorated and beautifully clean. Sidney was easily the best host we’ve ever encountered, he was so friendly and really looked after us. The breakfast delivered each morning was lovely (loads of food!). We were given a bottle of wine and other little treats - biscuits, local snacks. I really have to say, it was an amazing stay. These hosts make such an effort to offer something special. Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was PERFECT!

Beautiful little and new B&B in the vibrant Otrabanda with very nice and helpful Hosts. Sidney and his Wife are very lovely people, who always supported us with our questions. If you want any tips for sightseeing, shopping or daytrips, just ask them!

We loved the convienience of staying in a beautiful colorful house, with great bathrooms and kitchen, good amenities and breakfast. The staff is lovely and they even gave us a free bottle of wine, which we appreciated. It was a pleasure to return home after long days at the beach, we felt like locals!

Im addicted to bacon, so it would be great if they could add that to breakfast instead of so much bread.

All was perfect. We Had so a nice vacation in this BB. Sidney was very nice and we Talk some Times with him. He gave us information about beaches, Restaurants or markets. The breakfast was nice and enough. The Equipment was perfect and Clean. Sidney ist so a great Guy with so a happiness in His face, that you know that He Love what He did. The BB is in a near of the Central City, and some beaches, But Rent Car in this Island. ASK Sidney top Go top the sunday Market in barber

The Turquoise B&B is furnished with a lot of Love and nice Details. The rooms are very clean and are equipped with everything you need. It is located at a good central place by Willemstad. Flexible Check in and out Times. Normalien and Sidney are gorgeous Hosts who help you wherever they can. It was an unforgettable accommodation which we highly recommend. Thank you Normalien and Sidney for this wonderful Time. Hope to see you again soon. Stay healthy and keep going like this☘️

Whole płace is just terrific - You can feel like at home. There is everything that You might need - for example paper cups for coffee to go. It is also in very good localization - good road to airport, parking in front of appartament and 5 minut walking distance to city center.

The hospitality of Normelien and Sidney is outstanding. Every morning, in addition to a great breakfast, we had wonderful conversations about our experiences and plans for the next day. We actually planned our activities in advance and thought we had the ideal vacation plan. But thanks to Sidney, it got even better. (If you have the opportunity to go to Marshe Barber together, go!) You can quickly tell that these two are very passionate about running their B&B. That's what makes it so good, better than any hotel. We felt right at home with Sidney and Normelien. Normalien and Sydney are amazing hosts. The moment you walk in you feel like you’re family. Sydney came to the airport to meet us to make sure that everything run smoothly. He helped us with the car’s rental and drove us to the B&B. Normalien was there waiting for us and welcoming us to our new “home”. They knew this trip was a gift for my graduation and the prepared a little present for me. The bedroom was exactly as pictured and super clean. We parked right outside of the B&B with no issues. Sydney delivered every morning our breakfast at 8.00AM on the dot and he was so nice to even show us around. He would always check on us making sure we had everything we needed and he gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. He even took us to the Sunday local market, something that no guide will tell you to do and we got to experience the “real” curaçao. Do not hesitate to book your next trip at B&B Turquoise, you won’t regret it!

Dear Normelien and Sidney You made our holidays in Curacao an unforgettable time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and miss you and Curacao already. You have completely renovated the accommodation! The house looks very nice from the outside. The flat is also very beautiful and designed with a lot of love and details. We felt very comfortable and loved it from the first moment. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. You can cook wonderfully. You have simply thought of everything! We really enjoyed the breakfast that you brought over every morning. I have stayed at a resort in curacao a few years ago, but I would recommend the tourqoise b&b to anyone. the contact with Normelien and Sidney was so valuable and warm. We also thank you for the excursions and the dinner with you. With the car you are everywhere in a short time and can discover the island. You won't find a beautiful place like this with this price! There is nothing i can say

Great new accommodation near the city centre. Kind staff. Refreshments in the room. The owner arranged for us to rent a car even though the rental companies were without cars. Thank you Sidney and Nokmelien for a wonderful stay.
