Basic accommodation befitting of rustic stay in the Adirondacks. Short walk to Indian Lake. Beyond 2 cups, paper bowls and plastic spoons there are no in room facilities for cooking but there are gas fired barbeques. Bring your own cutlery and crockery! Short drive into Indian Lake hamlet with Stores and Restaurants if you are more of a townie.
A hotplate or microwave in the room may be a good idea for the unprepared

Location great , we went off season no swimming in the lakes or boating . The plan was to spend one night( something you are unable to do in many places and spend the next day at the Adirondack museum
Since there is no TV we planned on doing some reading but the reading lights were in adequate . We ran into the handyman who asked if all was ok and we mentioned the lights and he quickly got us two wonderful standing lamps . Problem solved and let the reading begin!!

it's quaint and in the woods a bit
We arrived to a heater that was unable to turn off. The room was 90 degrees It was an 85 degree day so that made things uncomfortable. I called the numbers available in the book, in particular, maintenance. No return phone call
we found the propane valve and shut off the heater
The faucet in the bathroom was a trickle
I've stayed here before and the first stay was much better.
Ill stay again but I hope things are better next time.
