The location was absolutely stunning and the property was fabulous and full of character.
Communication was really good and we loved our stay.
We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, with deer in the field and bats flying overhead, it was wonderful and relaxing.
There could have been better lighting in the kitchen.

Beautiful location and we felt very lucky to be able to stay so comfortably in a place with such history. My children had an amazing time playing in the garden.
We stayed for 6 days and they left only 3 coffee pods. We found it difficult to find pods that worked in the provided machine, so I guess that was the only thing that was a little frustrating.

House was lovely in a great location, we had a really lovely time as a group
Pool was winterised, despite online check-in information stating that the heating was off (ie inferring that the pool was still accessible). Some of the bedding had what appeared to be blood stains. The mattress in one of the rooms was lopsided, leading to a poor nights sleep for those in there. Pots and pans were quite dirty and required deep cleaning before use. The gate also broke and left us stuck inside the property for an hour when we wanted to head out - whilst this is no one’s fault the contact on phone said “this happens a lot”, which begs the question why it hasn’t been fixed.
