The flat was quiet, nice views across houses to the sea or at the back over gardens. Bed was comfortable, with fresh smelling linnen & the lounge was spacious. Water was hot when it stayed on. Supplied oil spray, salt & pepper, tea sugar etc in kitchen, but could do with a bread knife. Was clean but not spotless, generally a nice flat for a short stay. Parking space was great, definitely a positive.

Hot water for shower would go cold & not reheat, unless you rain the hot tap in the kitchen on a trickle, to engage the boiler again. TV was stuck on Samsung TV loop but not actually playing anything. So after a brief call to the host, we were told to check it was connected to the WiFi, as previous guests have messed with it. Once connected it worked fine. A check of this after each clean would be a good idea? Lack of supplies in kitchen - no surface cleaner or dishcloth / kitchen roll, no oven gloves, only two tea towels so after washing up & drying dishes one cloth is damp. Other was kept for use with hot oven. No bread knife only a short serrated knife. Toaster is quite feisty, use on lowest setting otherwise it burns the toast & sets off the fire alarm! No large tall glasses for larger / beers. These are all minor niggles, that could easily be put right.

Property was very comfortable and lovely and cool In the heatwave. Parking space on drive was an excellent feature.

Opening the flat door (internal) was very sticky and took several attempts every time. Landlady tried to let herself in soon after I arrived which was alarming as I obviously did not know who it was at first. That didn’t set a relaxing tone to start but she apologised for forgetting the agreed earlier check-in time and I had a great week de-stressing from work.

Great location, nice & clean apartment

The sofa bed was really uncomfortable as it dipped in the middle. Entry to both the apartments main door and the apartment itself was a bit tricky as the keys wouldn’t turn…took a bit of strategic manoeuvring to get it.

Location and size is good.

The shower leaks badly so doesn’t really work well. Such an obvious fix and therefore very poor to have this problem.
